We are thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Akash Gupta to our expert group of orthopaedic specialists. As a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Gupta brings comprehensive clinical expertise and a collaborative, individualized approach to patient care.
Dr. Gupta began his medical journey at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Washington. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. During this time, he gained extensive experience in complex reconstruction and sports-related injuries. He also had the unique opportunity to care for elite athletes and performers from organizations like the NFL, NBA, NHL, and the New York City Ballet.
With a focus on treating common and complex conditions such as bunions, ankle arthritis, tendon disorders, and fractures, Dr. Gupta is also among a limited number of surgeons with specialized training in minimally invasive techniques. He believes patients should understand both the cause of their symptoms and the full range of treatment options available to them, emphasizing nonsurgical treatments whenever possible and ensuring patients feel confident in the plan they choose together.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and taking advantage of the outdoor activities of the Pacific Northwest. We’re proud to have him on our team!
