Knee

Come to Proliance Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine for the latest treatments for knee injuries — among the most common injuries for athletes, hikers and those involved in vigorous activity. Our board-certified Sports Medicine physicians provide expert diagnoses and care for the joints that bares our bodies’ greatest stresses.

In particular, millions of Americans injure the cartilage in their knees each year. Our providers are expert in repairing early cartilage damage, preventing further degeneration from occurring. We are also one of the few practices in the Northwest offering cartilage transplantation for knee joints where cartilage is beyond repair.

Our imaging facilities include x-ray and MRI, enabling our providers to quickly and accurately diagnose all conditions involving the knee. With the exception of joint replacement, the vast majority of surgical treatments involves minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques, usually performed in an ambulatory setting with less expense and inconvenience than overnight hospitalization.

Our providers treat a wide range of orthopaedic conditions involving the shoulder including:

  • Tendinitis/bursitis
  • Ligament Repair (e.g. ACL)
  • Meniscus Tear Repairs
  • Cartilage Transplantation
  • Dislocations
  • Fractures
  • Arthritis

Shoulder Injuries and Conditions

Proliance Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine has board certified physicians with vast experience in diagnosing and treating injuries and conditions related to the shoulder. What most people call the shoulder is really several joints that combine with soft tissues like tendons and muscles to allow a wide range of motion to the arm. Shoulder pain and injuries are often related to problems with these muscles and tendons, as well as with the joint and bone. Our expertise and state-of-the-art imaging facilities, including x-ray and MRI, allow our providers to quickly and accurately diagnose conditions involving these types of structures. If surgery is required, the vast majority of these conditions can be treated with minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques that are less painful and allow for a quicker recovery. Most of the procedures are also conducted in an ambulatory surgery setting that allows our patients to avoid the expense and inconvenience of a hospital stay.

Our providers treat a wide range of orthopaedic conditions involving the shoulder including:

  • Tendonitis/bursitis
  • Adhesive Capsulitis/ Frozen Shoulder
  • Correction of arthritis and its deformities
  • Rotator cuff tears
  • Dislocations
  • Fractures
