After this, he was accepted to an orthopedic post-graduate residency in Chicago. Through the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, at Lutheran General Hospital, he received intensive training in all the sub-specialties of orthopedics; these include joint replacement, trauma, spine, hand, foot, and sports medicine. He came back to settle in the northwest and has been with the practice since 1998.
