Born in Virginia and raised in Colorado, Tyler Honn developed a keen interest in orthopaedics early on by watching his mother as a nurse. After suffering his own skiing injury, he was captivated by the interaction he had with his surgeon and went on to obtain an undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Following undergrad, Tyler worked as an intraoperative neuromonitoring specialist for 8 years; providing service all over the country – from CO and VA to PA, WA, OR, TX, and MT – with a focus on spine and neurosurgery monitoring. He then furthered his studies with a PA program at Rocky Vista University in Parker, CO. In his free time, Tyler loves mountain biking during the summer months and skiing during the winter season!
